I’m happy overall because it is my fault for not doing better research, but this is not a LP as advertised. LP stands for long play meaning an entire album. I received a vinyl version of a Cassingle. As a mass seller of vinyl, you should know this. I am assuming it was a mistake and that’s ok.

  • Good reading, insightful

This is an excellent book for an inside look into the a successful rock group like KISS. If you ever wondered how groups get started and how they make it or break it, this has plenty of details, along with the pitfalls and excesses. I was glad I bought this, I had already read Gene Simmons' view of the rise of KISS, and I wanted another view. It was very readable and had many interesting ancedotes that had happened to the group along the way. It was written from a financial standpoint, but is not boring with numbers and stats and is told in a more personal way.

  • This is what behind-the-scenes books should be!

I thoroughly enjoyed the author's first-hand account of what the band and former manager Bill Aucoin really thought of themselves 'back in the day.' The reality of the band's financial situation in the 80's was a real eye-opener. This was one of the better books on the self-professed "Hottest Band in the World."

  • Kiss and Sell

I used to have this book. I've never been able to find it. I like it because it tells you about the financial side of kiss.
