    HP Envy 5530 arrived and performs as expected

    The HP Envy 5530 arrived reliably in secure packaging. The printer replaces an identical one that stopped feeding paper and couldn't be repaired. This printer fits all my needs (I don't need a fax machine!), and is perfect for the space I have allotted. I have a minor issue with print quality from the color cartridge, with some detectable streaking, which a head cleaning exercise didn't fix, but I'm hoping that is an issue isolated to the cartridge itself, which would be rectified with an eventual new cartridge. If not, I've got a problem with the printer itself. I would not use it, as is, for quality photo printing. The scanning function works perfectly, and the software is easy to use.     Great Printer but will not Scan

    I already had this exact same printer connected to my PC so set up was easy. After getting set up and connections made I was able to print. However, when I went to scan something it would not scan at all and still will not after logging in many hours on trying to get this great condition PSC to scan. Not very happy.

    hp printer

    It is a very nice printer quiet, prints great. It is a little bit slower than I would like but it is still nice. I bought one for my wife, one for my daughter and a 5740 for me and they are all reliable. I like that all printers take two cartridge of ink instead of my last one that took six. and hp has improved customer service. You should know I went through 4 before The one I have now so it is important to take out a warranty. They are reasonably priced and the Envy line is better than what they were making. The only thing that I do not like is the way printed material comes out on the side and the pull out arm to catch the paper is not what I expected so if I print a lot it is all possible that it falls on the floor. But she does not print many sheets at a time and my 5740 has a ...

    Nice printer...except for two-sided

    Everything about this printer is pretty good except when printing two-sided. The paper always jams when doing the 2nd side. Might be the paper, but after printing side one, it said waiting for ink to dry then the paper was fed in again and jams. Fortunately I don't really care for two-sided printing so I quit using that feature. Other than that it prints fine.

    hp printer

    this hp printer is a great buy at this price. the prints that have dark colors are great pictures. the color ink that came with this hp is not the best. the lighter colors turn the page all yellow and white. I bought extra cartridges for this printer and will try to see if it works much better on the lighter pages. other than that this printer is an excellent buy and I would recommend it to others.
