    Totally superior to any Biblical History book I have read. Awesome!

    This book is the most factual, amazing and compelling history of the Bible and Biblical times that I have ever read. It was written by Charleton Heston, possibly motivated by his leading role in The Ten Commandments It is an accurate and detailed depiction of Biblical times and events, and the full paged colored pictures and paintings are fantastic. There are maps of the cities and surrounding areas that show exactly where historical things took place. There is also a short explanation of each book of the Bible and its content.
