    First Use

    Had to pick up a hot dinner plate. Didn't feel any heat from the plate. Though the product is snug on my big hands, it is nice to be able to use a product that will wrap around hot odd shapes to move them and not get burned. As the hot pads do work but for flat straight surfaces the glove allows you to pick up those odd shape objects like all metal tea kettles that have hot handles. And using these gloves for picking up hot heavy items will now be safer with better hand control. Where a hot pad could prevent you from having a good grip on the heavy item. I am glad that I finally purchased this item for use in my kitchen.

    Pot holders or thick gloves?

    These so called heat resistant gloves let the heat in the first time I used them. I was only cooking in a 425° oven and I literally couldn't hold the pan over 10 seconds w/o feeling a lot of heat.

    A MUST HAVE in every kitchen!!

    Absolutely awesome product! I bought two ... one for each hand. I never worry about burning myself when reaching in my oven because the pot holder slipped or I lost my grip on a heavy pan. The silicone strips on the glove keep what ever your taking out of the oven safe in hand! These should be in every home!!!!!!!!!!

    My previous glove lasted more than 20 years

    I purchased heavy cast iron and needed a second glove. I decided to replace my 20 year old one and get two matching. THESE ARE AMAZING - PERIOD! It is actually an autoclave glove that is used to pull out items that have been fried at extreme temperature. I used them in my father's lab as a child helping him out. DO NOT buy any other knock offs - this is the real deal.
