    Sony F5

    The Sony PMW-F5 is a workhorse for television production. This camera is used by many of the best DP's is television and is the A camera on many shows including Anthony Bourdain's Emmy winning "Parts Unknown". The small camera body is perfect for run and gun ENG style work and pairs well with cine zoom lenses and primes. Third party companies offer adaptors to mount non PL lenses like Canon EF series or B4 mounts for 2/3" zooms. The most valuable asset is this camera's ability to shoot S-Log in Sony's XAVC codec. S-Log gives all the information needed to apply changes to grade the image in post production. I have used the camera to shoot for History Channel, Discovery Channel and Nat Geo. Producers like to know they can shoot 4K, RAW, or 240fps if necessary. This camera will be ...
