So far I really enjoy this camera, the app is well designed and has some cool features like CO2 or fire alarm sound detector which is super cool, it lets you differentiate movement alarms between a general object or an ACTUAL PERSON which is really cool. It has cloud storage so it records 12sec vids whenever it detects the movement. Camera works well. East set up. Clear video and picture. My only complaint is that the video alerts are only 12 seconds in length. Would much prefer 30 second clips. Video length SHOULD be advertised in my opinion. I can’t single out Wyzecam for lack of advertising video length because most cameras fail to advertise this.

Used the 5 i have for a while now, Here are the high points back With a SD card you get almost 2 months recording before it starts recording over old data. You get art no cost back up cloud storage for clips of events for 14 days through WYZE. It is ready to go out of the box. No NVR necessary. QR codes used to pair cam to your home network using the WYZE App. The WYZE App is simple and very stable and allows for full control of the camera The Camera works the google home app and the google assistant. It doesn't integrate easily though. You have to be a bit tech savy to make it work. WYZE packs the camera ful of features all of which work stellar. 2 way talk , zoom , taking a pictures, Easy to mount magnetic base and adjust. Camera is wireless but requires USB power I solved that ... I have gotten two months before I recharged the power pack. And i powered two cameras off the supply for that 2 months These are as good as the more well known brands like Arlo and Ring but at a fraction of the price. The two drawbacks they don't function well with 5G if at all. Most ISP 's allow for use of 4G you just have to select it when identifying the network device your using. And they are not really recommended for outdoors where they are exposed to serious moisture. There are enclosures you can buy but you risk damaging the camera

Very nice for the price
I am really impressed with this little camera. It has a lot of useful things (like a magnetic base and night vision) that make it surprising for only $30. The clarity is very good. It was very easy to use and install on my phone. Perfect for what I wanted. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. Very good little camera for the money.
