Product Information

Judd Nelson stars in the 1980s dramedy as Robin "Stormy" Weathers, an ambitious young attorney who joins a staid Boston law firm, where he shocks his superiors with his unconventional courtroom tactics. Surprisingly, his exuberant behavior impresses his superiors and Robin soon finds himself promoted to junior partner.     Been waiting for this movie

    I haven't seen this movie for a few years and just love it. No swearing no sex! Just good acting,and story lines. It's funny, has drama that is really good. So worth buying! Some scenes are so exceptionally acted which adds to the very intense drama. A very good entertaining movie👍

    "From the Hip" DVD

    This movie is hilarious! Judd Nelson is awesome as the lawyer "Stormy" Weathers. I don't know of anyone who could've brought all that he does to the character. Nelson's character shows great creativity in obtaining his first court room hearing that's absolutely hilarious. But when the law firm decides to throw him a curve ball, you see the more serious side of Nelson's character which he portrays so well. "From the Hip" has a "Boston Legal" air about it that's very appealing. This one is definately good for some great laughs but also has that emotionally intense feeling about it,too. I definately recommend this movie.

    From the Hip

    I used to have the vcr tape of this movie and lent it out and never received it back. So I'd been haunting the local video stores for a copy. There were none. My son located the copy here and I purchased it lest it disappear again. The movie isn't the greatest, especially the editing. But it does have some good comedic parts that I never tire of.
