About this product

Product Information

Guide the title hero through a classic fantasy expedition to single-handedly save the world in this overhead view role-playing adventure designed by Imagineer and released as part of Sunsoft's Quest series. Playing the part of Brian, the player must travel the land to battle evil monsters, seek out hidden items of power, and speak with local townsfolk to make friends and gain important clues. Brian can use both magic and weapons as he faces enemies. Combatants can move about during a fight, dodging attacks and cornering opponents, adding a factor of strategy and often making the location important to the final outcome of a battle. Brian must use every advantage if he is to help his friends and save the world.

I bought this game because I played the original Quest 64 when it first came out and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I heard there was another Quest game, I had to play it! And at such a cheap price, how could I afford to pass it up? Especially since it'd probably be hard to find a game most people hated for an outdated console in your modern game store. I've always loved the Quest battle system, it's my favorite of all RPG's. In this installment particularly, they took all the good parts of of Quest 64's battling and refined all the bad parts of its leveling up to make one amazing RPG! They even made the story mandatory (and spruced it up a bit so it's easier to understand and makes more sense) so that it feels even more like an RPG journey! • If you like Quest 64 then give this game a try

Well the game is not on par with current hand held rpgs, it was and is still a very solid title. It's insane how close this game was to it's N64 port. Think of Quest 64 only on a smaller scale. If tou like Quest 64 then give this game a try.
