This is one of my favorite movies, because I like others can relate to this movie. It is bold, ballsy, and in the in very tragic. I don't care what your views are, this is a movie everyone needs to see. As for the shipping of my DVD, it came fast and the movie was in great shape. THX So Much 4 The Great DVD!

Excellant movie for the mature mind.
This movie deals with a very difficult subject that was very well done by these film makers. They managed to stay about 90% true to the actual event while not allowing their movie to become a dirty joke. A young woman, not understanding the gravity of her actions, manages to make new friends and start a new life as a young man. Though foolish in her way of going about it, she felt compelled to continue on that path by her inner self. The wrecklessness of her actions meet with intolerance from a few people that aren't able to understand what she truely is about. Feeling that they have been made fools of, then wronged by her, in drunken fits of temper they take the girl's life. {After the actual case, there were law suits filed against the police as well as the state for allowing the killers ... This movie deals with a very difficult subject that was very well done by these film makers. In the movie, only one other person was killed since the second party was not part of the movie's story, but an unfortunate bystander.} While watching the movie we found sadness, humor, anger, and tears. I do believe that a mature mind is needed to actually grasp the depth of the main character and her situation. It is seriously not for youngsters! I bought this DVD because while some friends and I were talking about movies one evening we all realized that we hadn't seen it. Knowing that it was highly praised and that Hillary Swank had won the Acadamy Award for her role in it, we decided to look for it. Since it is an older movie and they can be hard to find at times, I went on to Half.com and ordered it the next day!

Boys Don't Cry but you Probably will
This is an extraordinary movie. It is based on a true story that will break your heart. It is hard to be yourself when your not even sure what you are or should be. This is the soul wrenching story of a young person, born a girl who identifies as a boy, with the remarkable courage to be herself. Hilary Swank is phenomenal in the role. This film could do so much to teach love and tolerance.
