Product is as described. It was a local pick-up for me so, no shipping or packaging involved. Interaction with the seller was great. Highly recommended.

Shipping cost is justified by the excellent packing. Best I've ever seen. Item was as described and even received a manual. Very nice! Not my fist time buying from this seller and won't be the last. Thanks again.

The item was packaged and received in outstanding order. The seller worked with me on logistics to use my shipper and was extremely courteous to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Very pleased.

    30-years-young

I remember lusting after one of these when they were new, and even now, 30-years-later, it lives up to my rose-colored memory. I own and shoot a modern Canon 5D mk III and use the challenging 50mm f/1.2 L as my primary lens, and this first-generation autofocus camera focuses this difficult lens quickly and accurately, while the fast (for 1987) 1/4000th shutter speed allows using that lens, wide open, in daylight without an ND filter (ISO 50 Ilford Pan F is wonderful stuff). I always carry this body in the bag with my 5D3, and often get my best shots with it. One of the other reviews is wrong. When using EF lenses with IS the image stabilization function most definitely DOES work.

  • The First EOS for the Advanced User

This model followed the EOS 65O, the 650 was designed and marketed toward the general use market and based on it's success the more advanced and improved version EOS 620 was introduced. It's important to consider that this model was introduced well over 25 years ago so keep that in mind if you are considering one. Use, wear, and condition play an extremely important role if you are going to actually use one. I'd look for an immaculate body only and buy the lenses separately. It's a very important model to add to any collection. It was the first advanced EOS even though the 650 was first overall (The EOS 650 is just a plain jane). Another thing about the 620 is it's very large and heavy in SLR standards. I like this, coupled with a good lens, the weight helps provide someone like me more ...

  • A wonderful film camera and a great bargain

Among all the Canon 35mm film cameras this has to be one of the very best bargains. It is a great size and weight and easy to handle. It is an automatic camera with shutter priority, aperture priority, program and manual modes. It loads and rewinds the film automatically. It can do single shot or use a built in multiple shot mode. It even has exposure compensation. Best of all it not only has auto focus (which is fast, quiet and accurate), but is also compatible with every Canon EF lens right up to the present day. This makes shooting 35mm film super easy and enjoyable. It is not difficult to purchase a pristine copy of one of these for $150 or less, compared to the EOS 1V which will set you back $700 or more.

  • Also consider Canon EOS 650

This camera is the 'professional' version of the 1st EOS camera, the Canon EOS 650. Of the different features on the two cameras, it's really hard to see what makes one a 'pro' and the other not. In any case, the on-line value of these bodies in good working condition is very low (usually well under $50) and either one makes a super film back up for your EOS digital camera. With cheap adapters you can use virtually any of the manual focus Nikon, screw-mount Pentax (i.e. M42x1), screw mount Leica (M39), and many other lenses in manual mode. Ironically, the one thing that it doesn't make sense to use are the earlier Canon FD lenses that do require optical elements in the adapter to focus to infinity.

  • Canon EOS 620 Film Camera

Great exterior condition for a used camera, all of the mecahanicals/electronics worked perfectly, and it performed up to Canon's specifications. This particular model was recommended by a professional photographer as an AF film camera. This model moved me from the Canon AE-1 Program camera into the AutoFocus family with EF lenses. I would recommend this model along with the EOS 630 unit before going into the Digital World. There is a bonus with EF lenses for useage on digital cameras, i.e., the 5D MK II. I am perfectly happy using my AE-1 Program with FD lenses and the EOS 620 and 630 with the EF autofocusing lenses along with my P&S Canon digital camera; I have all of the bases covered.
