In this historically based first-person shooter, players take the role of a lone U.S. Airborne soldier who is dropped behind enemy lines. WWII sniper

Are you aware that german soldiers had guns that could shoot thourgh about four feet of walls or a yard of hill or an entire car to hit you? Are you aware that german soldiers could take about 50 machine gun bullets before falling down? Are you aware that these same German soldiers can see though high grasses and very far away and nothing you can do will make yourself hidden from them? "Super Soldiers indeed. Hitler would have LOVED these guys! I did not know this, nor does anyone who actually knows history. Apparently, someone at jarhead wanted the Germans to win badly.. No, I didn't know these things before I bought the game, nor did I know that there was no way to get towards the middle and pass "Crossroads' without first downloading the patch (which, by the way, wipes out your entire ... They DO have a customer support, but only for questions they've already made up. if you actually want to message them, then you have to sign up to a yahoo account, which then sends you to a homepage which has nothing to do with jarhead, which has disappeared.. I paid 18.00 for this game. By my figuring I wasted 18.99. Don't buy this trash; I wish the hell I hadn't..

I bought this game and really liked the action and availability of the weapons. One problem. The M1 Carbine, which I owned for 20 years, was a stronger gun than they portray. This gun was later altered to the AR-15 at Aberdeen proving grounds, by necking the carbine cartridge to take the .222 Remington bullet. Ask anyone if those guys shot by AR-15's in California, after they robbed that bank there, if a carbine isn't good enough! Other than that, It was a lot of fun, and the Germans sprach Deutsch sehr gut! I would say that this game would run smoother on a gamer rig, but I'm stuck using a Laptop, and it only runs 64meg of video. The price was great, and you couldn't beat the offer, wrapped, new! FP Shooting "Old style" at it's best.
I am running Vista Basic and the game loaded perfectly. The game is easy to learn, I had it up, running and was playing it within 5 minutes of sitting down at the computer. I have not advanced very far in the game, just got it, but I have enjoyed it VERY much. In fact I liked it so much I have bid and won several more versions of it. I expect they will be as good as this one.

Snipers Unite!! Great game even for my five year old..
This game is exciting for my son and I to play togeter. The violent scenes are not disturbing to my son, who is five, and the shooting aspect is pretty good as well. Try it you might be surprised!
