    Great for clearing heavy brush.

    This is great for converting an echo weed trimmer to a heavy duty brush cutter. The conversion is easy to do but I recommend having another trimmer for normal use. Now I’m not saying this is the proper way to use it but I was able to cut down heavy sticker bushes as well as a number of small soft wood saplings some 1-1.5” thick. I have a 1 acre pond and was able to clear the entire shore line without a problem. The pictures shows some of what I cut down.

    Mixed Thoughts on this Product

    Pros: It works. It does what it's supposed to do. Cuts heavy brush and light wooded vegetation. Cons: Dangerous to use around conduit, because it will cut right through it if you don't see the conduit. Also, expensive. All this kit is is a blade and some collettes to make it fit your trimmer. Another drawback: Figure on at least a half hour labor to take your trimmer head off, put this blade on, and then convert it back to a string trimmer. If I was cutting alot of heavy vegetation all the time, I would have two trimmers: One with string, and one with the blade. Taking off the string for the blade and back again is not what I would call convenient or time efficient.

    Good for thick grass and soft vegetation , need to buy brush blade separately

    Fits well with my Echo Trimmer. The blade isn't really for cutting brush but for thick grass or soft vegetation. Need to buy separate brush blade if you want to cut small sapplings or brush.

    Blade use.

    Put the blade kit on a SRM210 model. Easy to install. When done it turned my trimmer into a brush terminator. Sliced up to a 1” sapling with easy. It’s a nice upgrade.
