caught me up
set in the far distant year of 2020 yet people are still using pagers. Funny. Great story line, beautiful people, genuinely funny and engaging. Staying inside cause of health and other things and this is keeping me going. Jessica Alba has a more normal female figure, back before they skinnied her down. Make no mistake, Jessica Alba is a consummate actor. Can't get enough of this old series that i barely remembered. Each show fresh, really recommend. Saw other review where they said had to re-watch it several times to get the most out of it. Expect that will be the same for me. Moving, entertaining and inspiring
I've always been a sucker for a strong female superhero and I found her here in Dark Angel. I've had to watch it a few times to discover all of the nuances that, for me, has translated into meaningful text and inspiring messages to live by. Thought Max is clearly easy on the eyes her rogue attitude is refreshing when it ends up being for the common good of "normals" with a strong emphasis on acceptance.
