    Strange story

    Daniel Day Lewis said his role affected him.I can believe it. It's best seen as an exaggerated tale of a controlling man being overcome by an intuitive but forgiving young woman .It could more easily have been a pedestrian murder tale. Instead she takes a big risk and turns the story in love conquering them both.Not for the totally reasonable.

    One of the best psychological thrillers and characters I've seen in the movies yet! Daniel Day Lewis is phenomenal and the female villainous is a woman after my own heart!

    Strange story

    Daniel Day Lewis said this role changed him. His character was a talented and unlikeable controlling man. He meets a young woman who is sexually attractive and can be used as a model for his fashions. She takes a big risk and uses a questionable method to allow their relationship to become more that of equals capable of harming one another. And it pays off, he changes and becomes a better person. Not for those who are logical.

    What a great actor he is! I will miss him.

    So engaging! Well written, and directed. The scenes were shot with such a light touch. This is the best movie I have seen in some time.
