    ASUSTeK A7N8X-E Deluxe, Socket A 462, AMD Athlon XP Motherboard NVIDIA nForce2

    Certainly the best moterboard of its generation, to improve to its bests an old computer. Personnaly, I was NEVER able to run it above 2.0 Mhz [Athlon xp 3200+ or Sempron 3300 didn't work], despite good memories. Best is Athlon xp 3000+ or Sempron 3000.

    Excellent NEW old board

    I have always wanted this board but could not afford it. Now that I can, it has become "old" technology, relatively speaking. I've maxxed out the processor and run the max memory for XP but the only problem was that the onboard SATA would not recognize 1TB hard drives. It took a bit of research, but, I found a BIOS modification to update the firmware of the Sil3112 onboard RAID chip and flashed the BIOS. The two 1TB hard drives on the SATA are recognized now!!! I would recommend this board to anyone! To come across a NEW board was remarkable.

    Works as advertised.

    Still not entirely sure why I purchased this. I had an A7N8X-E Deluxe, liked it but it failed. I had a couple of CPU's, memory and peripherals that worked with a socket A motherboard so I decided to buy another one. The board I ordered on ebay arrived on time, well packed and in great condition. After installing a newer, upgraded BIOS it seems to work just fine.

    Top notch 32-bit Motherboard

    3200 mhz Barton core CPU,400mhz DDR memory, SATA 150mbs, RAID 0,1, 8X AGP, firewire, USB 2.0, many other features made this my "GO TO BOARD".
