    vivitar 28mm f2.8 for olympus evolt420

    my olympus evolt 420 camera focuses very slowly if at all under poor lighting condition. since this lens is manual focus, i can take pictures in the dark at will by simply estimating the distance. i use flash ocourse. it is very nice for portrait as it produces softer image than my kit lens. however at f8 to f16 my kit lens produce a sharper image. i need both lens

    Great Value

    Nice bright 28mm wide angle lens. I have not tested it on a 35mm OM camera but rather an Olympus E-410 digital SLR that has a 2x crop factor. This crop factor made this the equivalent of a 56mm lens. On my DSLR this Vivitar is a nice "normal" lens with a very usable field of view, high contrast, and sharp optics. Very close focus, almost macro range. Wide depth of field when stopped down allowing many subjects to be in focus. I can only assume this lens would be very sharp on a film camera, as well as have even a broader depth of field than on my DSLR. Focuses down to about 9 inches. Just use F8 and anything 10+ feet away is in focus! Five feet or farther is in focus at F16. This is a great lens with many uses, and is available at very attractive prices. Give it a shot!

    I highly recommend with passion to buy this lens if you are New to photography/videographer It's a perfect lens to manually control the exposure of your images and videos As long as you can find it in working condition buy it with out hesitation

    Vivitar 28mm f2.6 lens for OM

    Living in a small town with old victorian era buildings requires a wide angle lens to caputure the painted ladies beauty. Married to an set of OM bodies, this lens has given us just what we needed and a reasonable price. Building up a set of stock photos for future publication, this lens lives on an OM-1 most of the time and was great for our fireworks show as well. Black Rhino Publishing is very happy with this purchase and we would do business again with this merchant.
