About this product

Product Information

Otto (Emilio Estevez) is a Los Angeles punk, a loser with no direction and no role models. But he discovers a code of honor and higher purpose when he joins a select group of latter-day knights: the repo men. As a fledging apprentice, Otto slowly learns the ways of these high-caliber, overmedicated auto repossessors. And when a $20,000 bounty is placed on a mysterious missing car, Otto eludes the police, feds, religious cultists, and other repo men in a frantic search for this holy grail. Could one man's destiny lie in the back of a 1964 Chevy Malibu? Alex Cox's feature-film debut boasts a clever, satirical script that combines the larger-than-life edginess of urban L.A. with a bizarre array of science-fiction conspiracy theories. The film also features a strong soundtrack by an array of early 1980s punk and new wave bands and a terrific lead performance by Estevez.

  • Execellent movie

I love the movie cause of Emilio Estevez and it was funny and good at the end when he and the other guy got into this flying light up car and flew all over the city of Los Angeles.A 1980 movie to watch.

  • The Chevy Malibu

"Repo Man" was one of the films that came out in 1984 that, in a way, revolutionized film story telling, as we knew it. Alex Cox, the innovative director of "Repo Man", made a film that mixes a lot of movie genres with a satisfying result. That's why when it was discovered, it became a huge cult movie. It was one of the films that had midnight screenings for its many fans that flocked to have a great time and who identified themselves with the movie. The best thing in the film is the interaction between Bud and Otto. Harry Dean Stanton has always play cool parts and this movie is no exception. Emilio Estevez gave, what might be, his ...

  • Repo man

Crazy move! So weird you can't stop watching. If you've never seen this film you should buy it now. Or if it's been a few years and you forgot about it it's worth watching again. Punk rockers/disaffected youth, societal decay, UFOs, crime, corruption; this movie has it all and some. Two thumbs up (your bunghole).
