    Ignore all the reviews from the silly people below. "This is fake, I am a Wiccan and this isn't what it's like"....is this person joking? Wiccan is a very new religion and practice. I think cursing, spells and hexes a little predate 1950. As far as people expecting some how-to manual. Can I say, perhaps READ the description on the back? Good grief. It's a HISTORY....True tales from around the world. Not a how too for some do-gooder Wiccan. Now the book itself is actually EXCELLENT. A great gathering of facts and lore from everywhere. A little about it all thrown in here and there. I loved the detailed account of people with the evil eye and so many others. Family curses handed down. Gordon mixes in scepticism as well as belief with all he researches which to me is the best way to ...
