This seller was great, communication during this order was excellent as well. I highly recommend this seller, when my DVD arrived it was well packaged with an order summary that told me to contact him if there was any trouble with the DVD. What I appreciated most was how fast my package arrived and that this seller messaged me to let me know when my item had shipped and also sent me a picture of the sealed DVD as proof that it was unopened, which was not necessary, but very much appreciated.

Great seller, super-fast shipping. Was odd that the shipping box wasn't sealed shut, but my DVDs arrived safe and undamaged, just as expected.

    Enjoyable and good music.

A really good movie that I remembered from many years ago. A lot of action and fun to watch.

  • Top critical review

    Picture very grainy.

This film should be seen on a blue ray player or 1080p. The plain DVD version has poor picture quality and it's very disappointing since the cinematography is quite excellent but list in the graininess!!

  • Streets Of Fire is still ALOT OF FUN to watch..............

This is a really fun movie. The reason I bought it was simple, It was my favorite movie in my early 20's while I served at McClellan AFB, in Sacramento, California. I saw it at the base theatre there. It is an unforgettable movie if you are seriously addicted to performances by either Diane Lane, or Willem Defoe. They are BOTH nothing short of amazing as young actors in this movie, "Streets Of Fire". My friends on base and I loved it because it has EVERYTHING WE LIKE in it. Good rock n roll bands, bright neon at night, a REALLY pretty girl that OWNS the stage, badass motorcycles, fighting, guns, vintage cars,AND Willem Defoe. Ellen Aim (Lane)gets kidnapped by The Bombers (led by Defoe)while performing on stage...Tom Cody (Michael Pare')must come home and rescue her, ...

  • Excellent Rock n Roll Fable

Set in the 50's, this is a classic story of the quiet, somewhat misunderstood boyfriend (Michael Pare' of Eddie and the Cruisers) who comes back at his sister's urging to rescue an old flame. The twist; the "old flame" is Ellen Aim (a young Diane Lane in a great role for her), who has become a rock star and has been kidnapped by a gang of bikers led my a young Willem DaFoe (also a great role for him...one of his first big parts). The movie has great 80's-type music throughout that is set in a sort of Music-video that incorporates into the film. Rick Moranis and Amy Madigan also play great rolls as this movie keeps you chuckling from thier quipes at each other while containing enough action to never bore you. Well worth the prices being paid for on e-bay...I ...

  • Streets of Fire

I saw this film a long time ago and loved it not really knowing the actors very well at the time I saw it; like Willem DaFoe. I also bought the soundtrack after seeing the film for the first time; it is also very good. The cast is awesome Michael Pare, Diane Lane, Willem DaFoe, Rick Moranis, Amy Madigan, Bill Paxton(this was an early film for most of these unknowns at the time). I liked the way these talented actors played off each other. This film has everything from comedy to a love story to lots of action, drama and musical. It's a feel good movie in which the down-on-his-luck hero defeats the enemy and wins the girl. It's a timeless, stylish "rock and roll fable" as the movie states. I know it sound strange how could you combine all those elements and come up ...
