From the makers of the Guilty Gear series of fighting games comes Battle Fantasia, a 2D fighter with lively 3D backgrounds, cel-shaded graphics, and fantasy-themed characters. In addition to traditional Arcade, Versus, Time Attack, and Practice modes, Battle Fantasia also features a Story mode that provides RPG-style dialogue and detailed information about the lives of each of the ten main fighters. Gamers must learn to master counterattacks and the energy-gauge depleting Heat mode in order to advance through scenarios and unlock hidden illustrations, but those simply looking for a quick battle can also head online for head-to-head matches against a friend.

    Battle Fantasia (NTSC-U version)

    Besides the quality of the game, the NTSC-U version is really interesting for who lives in Europe and has both a PAL and a NTSC-J Xbox 360. The PAL version of this game is only PAL compatibile, but, as you can read on the net (on wikipedia and other sites), is censored (some references to incest during dialogues in the story mode). The NTSC-J version is only NTSC-J compatible and obviously not censored, but for not japanese speaking people the story mode is unplayable. The NTSC-U version, instead, is NTSC-U and NTSC-J compatible, it's in english and it's not censored. So it's probably the best version of this game available on the Xbox 360.

    Battle Fantasia

    awesome game that went under the radar. gamestop sucks because unless you reserve no name games you won't see it in their store, nor will anyone else. thanks for not supporting the little guys gamestop. best bet would be to get this on ebay or elsewhere online
