    The pads are worlds better than the 404SX!! Lots of great features on this thing, especially paired with a 404SX!!!!!!! I am loving mine so far. : )

    SP-555 Hardware sampler that has a lot to offer in its flexibility.

    The Roland SP-555 makes manual sampling and chopping fun again. This sampler has been discountinued and abandoned by Roland for some unknown reason. Perhaps because you have to actually use your mind and chopping abilities when putting your samples together, But once you learn the machine, it is a breeze to create on. I like sampling with my SP-555's first and foremost when getting rough ideas out without having to fire up my daw computer software. If you are an "old School" type of sampling person, then the SP-555 or Sp-404's are for you.
