    Great entertainment, sit back and enjoy Caine at his best.

    Michael Caine at his best, playing a quiet, sympathetic character caught up in a realistic setting in an urban deprived area, who gains revenge and triumphs, (in Michael's inimitable way), over violent local youths that have created 'no go areas' and make life in general, a misery for residents of the area.Best British film for ages and certainly Michael Caine's best for sometime.

    Well acted.... which left me with lots to think about....

    Quite a topical film (unfortunately)pleased we don't live in the Inner city Frightening that people live like this and even worse to think how vulnerable ordinary law abiding citizens are when they have to live amongst it. Made me shudder.
