    Superlatives Abound Here

    This book, written by Didion in the 60s, during her turn as a journalist, seems quaint one moment, time-transcending the next. Her prose is as sharp as her view of American society. The White Album, with essays covering topics from Hoover Dam to the women's movement to notorious bad boys of the Sixties, should be on everyone's reading list. If you're an aspiring journalist or nonfiction writer, writer, this book should be your bible.
