Rigoletto teaches wonderful values and great lessons in not judging a book by its cover!
Rigoletto teaches a great lesson about not judging others who might appear different than us. People who have reasons for feeling and acting the way they do without us knowing or understanding until we get to know them and let them into our hearts. It also teaches about giving without getting any recognition or getting anything in return. We owned Rigoletto when our children were younger and love it as much now as we did then! It was designated as one of our "Sunday" movies because it taught such wonderful lessons and values. We love this movie and it is again one of our Sunday movies! = ) Rigoletto teaches a great lesson about not judging others who might appear different than us. Childhood Favorite!
I was home schooled K-2 and my mom bought several movies from the company that makes Rigoletto for me and my sister to watch. The company makes movies that teach life lessons and whatnot. This one was always one of my favorites. And I'm glad to have found it on dvd and in such excellent condition, even though it was used.

I rented this movie a while back. It's the best movie I have ever seen. It is uplifting, teaches very good morals, I would highley reccomend this movie in anybodys home, it is a hard to find movie, I feel very lucky to be able to find it. Unlike most movies it teaches adults as well as children alike good standards or morals. I is a musical fairey tale above and behond any other musical or movie I have seen in the past. This in my own personal oppinion one of the best meaningful musical or any film I have ever bought. It can be used as a very good teaching tool for children as adults alike, the value to look behond the outside appearance or what someone and to look within the heart of the person whomever it maybe. Magical, heartwarming and beautiful
A heartwarming story about ugliness and real beauty. This story takes place during the depression so poverty and greed are two characters. To the main character these are obstacles to face and overcome with determination and patience. Her passion is music, specifically singing - all that stands in her way is the difficulties of the time. All of this changes when a mysterious man moves into an old mansion... This story has stuck with me since I first saw it decades ago. I watch it every so often to remind myself of the beauty that comes from hard work and keeping ones self respect a priority.A heartwarming story about ugliness and real beauty. They should make more movies like this with good moral and virtuous lessons. This film is totally family friendly, clean, no language, graphic violence or sex. The music and songs are beautiful. Plus It teaches good values and virtues. The main character exhibits the virtues of courage, love, and unselfishness unlike so many other fantasy movies where the protagonist is merely concerned about her/his own goal and dream without caring about helping others around them.They should make more movies like this with good moral and virtuous lessons.
