Casablanca 1942 /Colorized Version
I felt very lucky to now own a very hard to find colorized version of, the Classic Hollywood Casablanca! After some Manual Tweeding, the Colors are 99% Natural, as if it was shot as a Colored Movie. The only thing that couldn't be fixed was the Picture, it is a bit off, not a 100% Sharp Picture. The Sharpness of the Picture had nothing to do w/the e-bay Merchance that sold it to me, I believe that was from the early Days of the Colorizing. All the newer Colorized Movies are now 100% Perfect Picture, it's just too bad the worth while Movie Titles are so Very Very Limited to find on the MKT.I felt very lucky to now own a very hard to find colorized version of, the Classic Hollywood Casablanca! The DVD works fairly well, although the sound quality is poor and very difficult to hear, even with the volume turned up high. Also, I thought I was getting the colorized copy, not the black and white version that I received.

The Disc Includes Roger Ebert's Commentary on the Film
Roger Ebert’s commentary of this film is just as important as the film itself. He explains the backstory of the historical elements of Casablanca and what a McGuffin is about. There were several serious bloopers in this movie which Roger analyzes. I have to say I really miss Roger Ebert as a media figure. The fact that he was close to Russ Meyer early on as a screen writer is a fun fact.

A brilliant story with extraordinary acting
Casablanca is one of the best movies of all time. The DVD I received was in great condition and played perfectly. When people say, "They don't make movies like this anymore" they are probably referencing Casablanca. If I could only own one movie, Casablanca is the one I would own. Here's looking at you, Kid!
