What a Lark!
This is the second Perfect Polly I've purchased. The first one is very much alive....I thought she had died, so immediately ordered another one, and then found out it was a faulty battery that was the cause of her dead pan expression. Now I have two! One sits in my antique cage in the living room, and greets everyone who enters. The other is in the guest bath and is just as vocal. Everyone wants to make fun of me for owning Perfect Polly, but after they see her, they want one too! She looks real except for the hole on her chest, which she couldn't sing without. So, if you want a parakeet with a personality, get Perfect Polly. Your friends will want to make fun of you, but in the long run, they will envy you.This is the second Perfect Polly I've purchased. Polly the parkeet
I had one that worked on 3 small batteries (4.5 volts). This one worked great for years. This new one works on only 2 AAA (3 volts). It doesn't have enough power to move it's head or chirp as advertised. Not worth the money even if it's free.

I. Bought one for my parrikeet a little over a year ago, she loves her Polly bird it keeps her company, it's perfect for a bird. Mine has 2 batteries, and has worked for about 13 months, I've changed the batteries 4 times, but my bird keeps it chirping all day long, Polly is her best friend, she's ripped the head off 3 times and It was easy to fix . Ecept this last time she broke it, I guess, so time for a new one. Oh and It's about the size of a very health parakeet,I. I was initially wondering if this product was just some over-hyped gag, but for under $8 I thought I'd try it. But it works amazingly well! The sounds and motion are remarkably life-like. We own a parakeet which looks very much like this toy. We had a friend visit recently who actually mistook this toy for our actual parakeet! Since then, we have moved this toy into the cage with our real parakeet, who seems amused by it for hours! He is constantly triggering its motion-activation (it's pretty sensitive) and he talks back to it and lightly pecks its fake beak when it goes through its motions. Tons of fun!
This is a well-made product, with bright colors and capable of plenty of fun action. The pieces on the feet that fit into the branch hold Polly very well, and the cage is also well made... a nice extra. Polly is held securely whether on the stand or in the cage. A good fun toy for a very reasonable price.
