    Next best thing to a shop manual!

    This book gets into details about restoring a 69 corvette. I some areas, this book provides more details than the shop manual. The 69 GM shop manual (also called chassis service manual) covers a lot of GM cars made in 69 and hence lacks a lot of Corvette specific details. Having this book along with the shop manual helps your restoration project tremendously. I don't know why they don't show a 69 Corvette on the cover!!! This could be one reason why this book never got too popular among 69 corvette owners. I also feel that in some areas, the author is over promoting some parts vendors.
