Superb state-of-the-art aerial photography makes TOP GUN, directed by Tony Scott, one of the most exciting and entertaining films of its genre. This top grossing movie of 1986 is allegedly based on a Navy fighter pilot program at the Miramar Naval Base in San Diego, California, and was filmed on location at the base.

Good Guys Action Flick
I enjoyed lots of action in this movie. You got fights, battles, blood, and more all the way through this movie. The plot was ok - the gals like the romance and music in it. Internationally and in the USA TOP GUN is one of the most viewed and sold movies. Good flying shots. Good movie to watch. Rated PG for some blue love scene, language and violence. Some TV shows are worse than this. Good recruiting movie for the United States Navy. Hope you enjoy this movie as much as I do. I considered on of my all time favorites and a "Classic".I enjoyed lots of action in this movie. You got fights, battles, blood, and more all the way through this movie.
