Great looks, great sound, great ergonomics, a great buy.
This microphon really exceeds my expectations. The previous mic was a great sounding AKG D870 but I was unable to tweek it for combined vocal/harmonica purpose especially with my deep bassy voice. One or the other but harmonica amplification was really a tough task. The Fireball does both better without separete tweaking. I fell in love with it at the first note. The volume is noticably more, the sound is beautifully warm, detailed, and punchy, feedback resistance is outstanding. Never heard my harmonicas sounding this responsive, big, full and with a lot of presence. The built-in volume control very helpful, extra foam windscreen recommended to avoid contact with the harmonica. I use it with direct drive and effectpedals direct to the mixer. I guess it would work even better with a tube ... This microphon really exceeds my expectations. I’m not very experienced with many mics so don’t look into my review too much but the best part is the volume wheel. It’s placed perfectly! The only thing that bothers me is how close my mouth has to be to get good bass (I beat box). I also don’t like how the best bass comes from one exact position on the top center of the mic only. The mic is definitely less distorted sounding than my shure SM58.I’m not very experienced with many mics so don’t look into my review too much but the best part is the volume wheel. Thats what i expected of the mic. Size is unusually small, but usability is great, dont be afraid of its size. At $100-150 my best choice for beatbox and loopstation-fun.

Fabulous mic
Awesome great sound I use it to play harmonica through a 60watt tube amp, sounds fabulous, I have used other mics in the past one an Audix vocal mic that was great too but somebody liked it more than me and stole it.
