GREAT FILM! Streisand and Sharif at the top of their game make this film a must have! Streisand takes command of every scene she's in. She's truly possessed with talent, acting singing, drama and comedy. It's all here for all to enjoy! 'Funny Girl' is highly recommended!

One Streisand is all You Need
Whether it was the Broadway Show stopper that made Mme. Streisand or the movie that continued to wow audiences and gain enthusiasts throughout the years, Streisand never needed a male co-star to make her look or sound better than she ever did. Listen, ya gotta have a voice, a million toots, sit around for them toots (or something like that).... it would probably take a BUY IT NOW with a BEST OFFER to buy Omar Sharif or Sydney Chaplin without Streisand leading the the gang. Then again, maybe that's why Streisand gave up theater and the movies...she needs nor wants to co-star with anyone. However back to the basics here...Streisand shines in the movie version of this incredible show, although the movie was stripped of some great songs or (oh ok, a song) from the show. The incredible Barbara Streisand!
I almost forgot how beautiful and charming she was. Barbara Streisand was the kind of singer and actress that charmed my world. Her songs are like magic. This movie brought feelings I rarely experience. I'm so glad I finally own it.
