    Another great handheld from Nintendo

With a few improvements over its previous models (the NDS and NDS Lite) the NDSi now includes a front and back camera, sound recorder, memory card slot and the ability to install applications and games. The screens are slightly larger and the colors look more vivid ares well. The only downside to this handheld, is that there is no longer any support for GBA cartridges. Similar to what happened when the Gameboy Micro dropped support for older GB and GBC games, nintendo decided to focus more on the new features of the device and move are sway from previous gen compatibility. Overall it's it's a great handheld with great improvements over the DSLite, however if you were interested in playing GBA games as well you will be better off with a NDSLite.

  • DSi - The Ugly Truth

Nowadays, nearly every console that comes out is retooled and redone, and Nintendo is no exception. Sure, some of them are a masterpiece (GameBoySP) and others are pieces of cacapoopoopeepee (GameBoy Micro). Why should the DS be an exception? We got the original, not very bright and big as all hell. Nintendo went back and made it better. We got the Lite. Brighter, smaller, bigger screens, a win all-around! But Nintendo wasn't satisfied. They had to revisit it. They made it even smaller, with larger screens, a more powerful CPU, slapped on a pair of cameras, and gave us an SD slot for music and pictures. And, of course, much better WiFi capability. It's all great, I love all of these new improvements. But wait, something's missing. Where the hell is Slot-2? The fatal flaw. ...

  • Affordability Meets Creativity

Even though it's no PS3 or Wii, it still has it's rich backgrounds and endless entertaining titles to keep you engaged through a good part of your life. Just buy a couple of RPG games or check out the top 10 PS2 games from any review site, and you'll actually appreciate having your PS2. I definitely enjoy it's interactive and easy navigation as well as it's simplicity. I think the bottom line is that if you just want some good entertaining games and affordability, definitely consider buying a PS2 used or new. One of the reasons I bought a PS2 was for the Final Fantasy series and hearing such rave reviews about Kingdom Hearts. I think if you want to escape for just a little bit out of your life, relax, and just sit , try the PS2.

  • PS2 - Great ... or not so Great ???

The Playstation 2 has many functions to it, you can get it in Jet Black or you can get it in Silver, which looks much better, but it is very rare to find. I have many games for this console and personally I love it overall! Advantages: lots of good games out, Sleek looking, DVD movie playable - basically good value for money :-) Disadvantages: Xbox's graphic capabilites are superior - Still waiting for hard drive peripheral for PS2. Also there are only two controller ports, compared to the higher rated Xbox. Also the games are quite costly so go figure! The verdict: I would say that the Sony Playstation 2 is a high quality games consule with extraordinary gaming power capible of being achieved. Many people tend to dissagree, but I think that the Sony Playstation 2 is the best games ...

  • Sony PS2 -- A whole lotta bang for a little buck!

The PlayStation 2 game console was the best of its generation. Can it hold a candle to the nextgen systems (PS3 and XBOX 360)??? Let's see... Graphics: Nextgen wins. This one's a no-brainer. The PS2 can't compete with the nextgen systems on this front. Though I should mention that the PS2 has very good graphics. Gaming Library: PS2 wins. There are games for all ages on the PS2 and you can play the PS1 games as well. The PS3 (as of this writing) is still having compatability issues with the PS2 and PS1 games. Online: Difficult...Nextgen takes it. The 360 has decent online funtions. PS3 is lagging on that front...PS2 online is free... Size: PS2 wins. The original is bulkier than the slim, but still smaller than nextgen systems. Price: PS2 all the way! If you can afford ...
