A couple scuffs, but works perfectly fine.

Everything works properly. It runs smooth like a new 3080 would. It came clean without dust. Expected to need to redo the thermal paste, but no it was good. Only thing is it was a little scuffed up. I don't care because I don't like rgb and if my computer has good thermals and can run games, I couldn't care less how it looks. 4/5 stars because of the scuffs on the card, they were very noticeable so that could be a down side for a future buyer if they want something clean for a flashy build.

  • Cheaped out on components, performance suffers

Warning: Zotac cheaped out on a set of capacitors that are meant to manage current flow into the card, and this causes the card to fail when the clock is boosted. I've heard they're releasing drivers that limit the boost clock. Maybe buy a different brand.

  • Capacitors weak, won't overclock.

Be wary. Several AIBs, including Zotac, used an array of 6 cheaper capacitors rather than the standard Nvidia spec of 5 cheaper and at least 1 higher end MLCC capacitor. it is causing the GPUs to crash or glitch if overclocked above 1950mhz. Asus uses all MLCC, MSI uses the standard 1 MLCC, and the Founder's Edition uses 2 MLCC. Those 3 work fine and Asus should be able to overclock a little higher than stock.
