I I have owned Yamaha products for many years. I was familiar with the item. This receiver can do just about everything sound wise except dance. You have bluetooth if you want to get wireless speakers, sync your phone to play through it. There are so many choices to choose for different sound effects, you will enjoy. Playing your TV through it will enhance your joy of watching movies, sports incredible.I I have owned Yamaha products for many years. I was familiar with the item. This receiver can do just about everything sound wise except dance. You have bluetooth if you want to get wireless speakers, sync your phone to play through it. Great value and super sound
Easy to set up and balance output levels with great surround sound when operating. Enough controls to make it sound fine to my ear but not so many functions that it becomes difficult to use.

Super deal-just be patient with speaker connections.
Bought this to replace a trusty 24 year old Sony receiver because the world went to HDMI connections and I needed to catch up. What a great unit. Easy set-up right out of the box with exception of difficult to attach 10 speaker wires on the screw terminals with such limited space and awkward angle of wire insertion. The automatic speaker leveling and balancing function worked perfectly. It even told me that I had polarity wrong on one speaker. I love the TV interaction with the unit via the 2-way HDMI comms. The one TV remote turns both on and adjusts volume. It took me a while to find the right TV settings for it all to work, but once understood, works super. "Open box" saved significant cash, and I couldn't tell it from unopened new. Thanks Best Buy for the fast shipment. Performance: ...
