Why didn't it come with a nut?
Item was shipped fast. It went on easy. Finding a nut for this will be a task. It's a 10 mm 1.00 threads. Most stores will carry 10 mm 1.50 threads, which don't fit. The 1.25 threads will work temporary. I will have to go to a nut and bolt store to get this specialty nut. TSC, HD, hardware stores, and Lowes don't carry. While searching for this difficult nut, I kept hearing the same dang question, "why didn't it come with a nut?" Good question that I had no answer. It's the oem part for my troy built Bronco I guess that is all that is offered now it's smaller than the one that came on the mower not as heavy duty but it fits so I guess it will be fine.
