    Excellend tactical boardgame based on the hexagonal map and movement system. The game simulates combat in the 31st century by the next evolution in human created weaponry, the Battlemech. A 30 foot tall robotic war machine ranging in weight from 20 to 100 tons with corrisponding armor and weapons carrying capability as well as rate of movement, the Battlemech is now the ultimate weapon in a chaotic future. Its not too hard to learn how the game is played, but i highly recommend playing it with somebody who already knows to get into the loop a bit faster. I would also recommend getting the technical readout 3025 for more options based on the basic level of technology found in the classic box set game. The universe gets more and more involved as it goes along, but it starts to lose ...
