I purchased a similar item at a jewelry shop, Badiner, in Minneapolis at the IDS Tower for over $100. My son was about 9 at the time, and active in sailing, fishing and hunting. That watch lasted about 3 years before it was deemed un-fixable. I wanted to get him another one similar, and Badiner closed up in 2006. At first I was hesitant to puchase this item as the price seemed low and I am wary of counterfeit. I purchased the watch, and it has worked great for the 4 months we have owned it, for my son who is now 13. Accordingly, I gave feedback that I was very happy with the item. It seems like an older version of the kind that are currently sold new for over $100. It came with a tin box and authentic-looking directions. Perfect watch for hospital work
I have had a "renegade" watch for years. I was devastated when it was lost. I was so happy to find this watch through e-bay. All I had to do was get another battery put in and start using it again to take "vital signs" at work when needed in my job as a physical therapist.
