    Weber Smokey Joe Premium(Gold) 14-inch Portable Grill

    After using my new Weber Smokey Joe Premium(Gold) 14-inch Portable Grill I purchased, I noticed it took longer to get as hot as other grills. I had opened the vents on the sides and the top wide open and even turned one set of the side vents into the wind and still took a while to get hot. Others had said the same thing about this grill and didn't understand why Weber hasn't put the vent in the bottom like they did the Smokey Joe Silver which seems to cook fantastic. The only real reviews I have read that didn't give this grill 5 stars, gave it 4 stars because of this same problem. This is also why I gave it 4 stars as well. I ran across a video on YouTube that showed how they bought the extra parts and installed them on the bottom same as the Silver and said they made the Premium(Gold) ...

    Nice Grill short parts.

    My only complaint is that the grill came short the screw to hold the handle on the lid, since i purchased it to be use as a basket item for a donation to a silent auction. I had to make a last second trip to the hardware store to find a screw to make it work. I have used Smokey Joe Grills before and they always work well.

    Awesome grill!

    Received before promised date! This is actually the third one we have purchased. Absolutely love this grill, Easy to clean, easy to store, we love the locking lid! Definitely our go to grill for every day use!!

    Great Little Grill

    Air intake holes are on the side rather than the bottom so ashes don't "escape". It's a neat little grill perfect for cooking for two. Actually I cooked 7 slider burger patties at the same time for my wife and 3 grand-girls last weekend and it was great. Another good thing about it is that the handle can swing up and lock the lid in place for transporting, and there is a place to put the lid if you don't want to cover the food while cooking.
