    Outstanding headset

    Have used the AS35W headphones for many years. Have tried (and returned) lesser quality Sony headsets but their performance does not match these. Excellent volume capability without distortion and bass tones resonate. A little pricey but worth it.

    Best headphone & light weight of all the other phones I've brought

    I thought I've made the review on this. Sorry, I forgot. This headphone I'm very impressive on this sony mdr'as35w headband headphones. I use this as my hearing aid. I wear it all day long. The only times I don't use is when I'm on the computer & I can wear the phones or use my speaker. My computer has loud amplified Bose speaker & when my wife says turn it down, I'll plug this Sony ear phone. The amplifier unit I brought is the Radio Shack & wear it around my neck. this is called listener device & cost $35 & been wearing it for 3 years These mdr-as35w is very comfortable to wear. All the other phones sucks. I'm 90% deaf. Born nerve deafness. thanks Gene

    LOVE this style~Sony, great sound always.

    Can't find these anywhere anymore. I've had 3 pair. Used to be able to find them at local stores and even drug stores. ****With regular use****They only last 2 years as do all Sony headsets. (Why I don't understand why sellers here charge lots for used ones). I have long hair. Ear buds are awful. Even the ones with ear hooks. Constantly fall out, take too much time to take off and put back on. Can't jump around with them on either. These fold, fit right in the ear and overhead like a headband. FANTASTIC quality sound too!!

    Lightweight non intrusive headphones

    Hard to find product that's no longer being made, but that is excellent for people who don't like in ear buds. Big benefit is you're not isolated from external sounds so you can hear cars approaching and have a higher situational awareness than other products allow. Ideal for walking or jogging.

    Second to NONE in their class!

    My only complaint is that Sony has discontinued this product, and apparently does not have a replacement model which is substantially equivalent on the market! Great headphones, with great sound, which do not fall out of my ear while working out, and do not create pressure points that lead to discomfort on my ears like most which come with ear hooks, but no vertical headband! I wish Sony would produce more of these, as they are getting difficult to find on the secondary market, and expensive when actually available!
