    If your mom refuses to go digital . . .

    I've been digital for a decade,but my mom refuses to budge. And we needed a nice simple film camera to replace her 1000 year-old Pentax 105 P&S. The choices narrowed very quickly to the Canon or a comparable Olympus Stylus. The Olympus may be a slightly better camera, but I never cared for the design. The Canon is bit more traditional - like my mom. The Canon has a decent lens, a nice feature set, is fairly small and seemed to be easy to use. Does what it is supposed to do pretty well. Turn it on, take the pic - hope that your local 1-hour shop doesn't screw up your prints. So far, no complaints which means it must be the best camera ever made. Probably says more about my mom than the camera, right?

    Why I Bought the Canon Sure Shot

    I bought this camera because I wanted a second film camera. I used to shoot digital, but the quality was poor, so I switched back to film. Now my pictures great, and the color and contrast of the photos are superb. The reason why I bought this camera was for portability. It is much easier to carry this camera than my SLR. The only draw back, it takes a few precious moments to setup the picture. The SLR is faster, but more heavier, but easier to setup a photo. Going on vacation or shooting outside, the Canon Sure Shot is much better to take, because of weight and easy to use.

    Quality point & shoot choice.

    I bought this because I have previously had exact same camera. It is easy to use. The zoom works very well for such an inexpensive camera. I am constantly amazed at the quality of the photos. And it has extras like Date Stamp and Red Eye Reduction. Recommend this product highly!

    Great little film camera.

    The best thing about it is its ease of use; you get great pictures with no effort. Convenient size, good zoom.
