That Disney Character of Willie The Whale Really Hanuted Me with His Singing And That's How I got into Jeanette MacDonald/Nelson Eddy Movies,Songs And Everything since Late 2013.     Willie the Operatic Whale Disney Mini Classics

    I missed out on many things as a child since we didn't own a TV or go to movies much. I have "discovered" the talents of Nelson Eddy in the past year and have enjoyed watching the old movies and hearing his music. This cartoon showcases his gift of voice and the Disney art of animation. I hope to show this to my own grandson to recognize artists from the past. I loved finding this on ebay at a spectacular price. I purchase most of my old movies on ebay because of the prices fit well in my budget and the items are usually delivered quickly and exactly as described.

    Video of Willie the Operatic Whale

    This was one of my favorite cartoons when my kids were small. I sometimes forget that you can find anything on e-bay but my fiance didn't. He surprised me with the video and we both laughed as we watched it. A bonus was 2 cartoons also on the video of Lambert the Cowardly Lion and Ferdinand the Bull. You just don't find cartoons like this anymore. I love it. My next quest; Pecos Bill.

    Willie the Operatic Whale (1991, VHS)

    This VHS childrens short movie also includes Ferdinand the Bull, which as a child I had a copy on a 45rpm record. They are cute stories, Disney usually is. I bought this for my grandchildren and I think the introduction to classic opera is creative. But the stories are really brief and I feel it was overpriced.

    Great For Kids

    I used to lovvvve this as a kid. I remember crying while watching Willie and singing along to 'Lambert the Sheepish Lion'...and who doesn't think Ferdinand is adorable? I highly recommend it to anyone who likes cartoons or has children. 3
