  • Who is Tsukasa and Why is he Stuck in "The World"?

    Opening scene a young player character named Tsukasa wake in a dungeon and soon realizes he can't log out of an online game called "The World." Despite being rude and stand-offish to everyone he encounters, other player soon become wrapped up in the mystery of who he is and why can't he log out. He also becomes wanted by "The Worlds" self-proclaimed police who set out to try to capture him for "playing beyond the games parameters. The .hack (pronounced dot hack) universe spans anime, manga and video games, and all are intertwined one way or another. I completely enjoyed this entire series, and unlike a lot of anime today has an ending I can accept and enjoy. The first volume has episodes 1-5 of the series and you find yourself thinking "Wow, that Tsukasa guy is rude" from the first ...
