Acting as a sequel to the 2008 theatrical release starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy, Wanted: Weapons of Fate drops players into the heat of the action approximately five hours after the movie's conclusion. The game begins with Wesley Gibson chasing after intruders who have stolen some of his father's personal items, an event that touches off an action-heavy journey through various assassin fraternities around the globe. Designed to retain the visual flair of Timur Bekmambetov's film while also staying true to Mark Millar's comic book series, Weapons of Fate finds Wesley, and in some cases his father Cross, performing a violent ballet that includes a multi-layered cover mechanic, bloody knife fights, and brutal close quarters combat. Efficient kills earn players adrenaline, which can then be used to perform the series' signature "bullet curving" maneuver or engage in as slow-motion, Max Payne-esque "Assassin Time" shooting sprees.

    Weapons of wha?

    I have to say I had a bit of fun playing this game. There are some issues when it comes to moving the character here and there as well as cover issues when the character is slightly off facing. This is a fun game, but short... extremely short (about 4-5 hours of game play). There is also a cut scene missing from the game where 2 guys shoot up a ski lift car. You will enjoy the witty remarks that the main character says. I was also worried about the curving of bullets mechanics. They seemed to work it out fairly well with only minor issues popping up once in a while. The graphics are nice and clean. The only overwhelming flaw that I saw was that it just was over before you knew it. This puppy is a rent... but if you really liked the movie and want something to add to your collection, buy ...

    Pretty good game, way too short

    This game has great interface: weapons, shooting and controls are great. The problem with the game is that it gets so repetitive and its soo short, kind of an oxymoron i guess. The storyline should have been much more in depth and i kept wanting new stuff to happen, some new skill or new boss or even new interaction with the AI. I beat the game in about 3 or 4 hours total on hard mode. I could go back and beat it on the hardest level but i probably wont. Bottom line is that it needed a better more in depth story line and levels that were more diverse. This game is not worth 59.99, I read a review on IGN and saw it would take about 3 hours to beat and i refused to pay 60 dollars and got it for about 40 on ebay. I would say if you are gonna get this game wait till its about 25 bucks.

    A different twist on a 3rd person shooter

    I like this game a lot , However I got to a point in the game where you take control of a machine gun that I am shooting everyone everywhere but it just keeps going and somehow I just keep dying and can never really tell how or by who . Up till that point of the game however , I loved it . The gameplay is a lot different from other 3rd person shooters and thats in a good way . I am really hoping to pass the machine gun part so I can continue to enjoy the rest of the game , Or until the next machine gun .
