    The early Carl Eickhorn Nr.1692, Hirschfanger for the Deutscher Jagerschaft with the 1933-1935 Carl Eickhorn maker's mark (mark # 43 per J. Anthony Carter's 2015 edition book), arrived today (24 June 2025). This C. E. Hirschfanger is in rough condition, the blade cleaned up very little with Hoppes Gun Oil and Renaissance wax.The black electrical tape on scabbard was removed and condition of the leather is poor with a tear. See German Daggers.com "Early D J from Eickhorn" and I will post photos.
