Useful small space area heater
I mainly use this dish heater to warm my feet & legs, by placing it down 3 feet away from my desk. It can only warm a small space area. This model does not have an oscillation feature, it just warms you up in one direction

Works great but would prefer if it had a thermostat
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wish it had a thermostat. When you turn it on, it stays on so if the room temperature warms up, it would be nice if this would shut or cycle to maintain temperature. Aside from that it generates a decent amount of heat considering its small ize & is perfect for a smaller area like an office or bedroom. We live in a temperate climate so this is great for the occasional cool evening. It draws 300 watts of power which is quite low compared to other small heaters. Also note that it is infrared which is designed to warms people & objects, but not the air space directly.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wish it had a thermostat. Good for heating direct area not a room
Point it at you and it will warm you up and take the chill off. Will not heat a room, not even a small room. That’s not a defect, it’s not it’s design. Warms the area directly in front of it. Great as a desk heater pointing at you.

9" Optimus Radiant Heater
After surviving cancer and going through all of the treatments, I was left with some lingering side effects. One of them was very low blood pressure from all of my weight loss. Thus, I would get cold very easily. I wanted something that was small, did not have a fan blower on it, and was reasonably priced. This product met all 3 of those criteria. I have used it many times while sitting and watching TV. I place it about 3 to 4 feet away from me and the radiant heat still warms me sufficiently. I like the safety feature of the button on the bottom of the base. If it is placed on anything that is soft and not a hard surface, it will not work. Although it is only a 300 watt heater, it works fine for me. Even while working at the computer, I can have it on the floor facing towards me warming ...
