    Japan's mysterious, invisible creatures that are the physical embodiment of everyday problems come to the U.S. for the first time in Yo-Kai Watch. The story is set in the town of Springdale, where a young boy named Nate is out looking for insects, only to find a Yo-kai named Whisper. The mischievous creature gives Nate a special watch that lets him see other Yo-kai hidden throughout the game's environments. Gamers can find and befriend more than 200 uniquely skilled Yo-kai around Springdale, though many of the creatures will need to be defeated in battle before they grow friendly.<br><br>Players can form a party of six Yo-kai and then set about solving problems for local citizens and other Yo-kai. Combat comes in the form of turn-based battles, and gamers can gain experience to upgrade their Yo-kai and improve their watch. Nate's friends also get in on the action, with Katie serving as another playable character, or players can simply give either of the protagonists a new name.

        Yo-Kai Watch, Best Game on the 3DS

        Yo-Kai Watch is the new Pokemon in Japan, and for good reason. It has an amazing art style and Japanese influence, unlike Pokemon which turned away from its Japanese roots to be influenced by Europeans. While Pokemon struggles with sequels that are too similar to previous games and remakes that are almost exactly previous games, Yo-Kai is so original and beautiful although limited to the horrible resolution of the 3DS. Lighting, art, scenery, and monster designs are impeccable. There are more fun things to do in the game and more content than all of the Pokemon games to date put together. Basically, it does all of the things Pokemon should have done with its games a long time ago. It adds fishing, bug-catching, and collecting to the monster-catching plot and is still totally original.         Great deal, didn’t think I was going to like the game as much as I do, and I can see why it’s so popular in Japan. I will say this much, it is NOT a Pokémon game/clone so anyone looking for something LIKE Pokémon, this isn’t really for you. The battle system is very different, didn’t really like it from the demo I played but I quickly got used to it and I can appreciate it. Atmospherically speaking I love the games charm, and in my opinion the map is very large and has plenty to do.

        Excellent Graphics, Best Game I bought in a long time!

        I bought this game for myself, I accidentally found the show on Netflix. And I had to get the game for my 2ds. The graphics are so awesome!! The characters have me cracking up with their sarcastic humor!!😂 Alot of people compare this to Pokémon.. Honestly Yo-kai & Pokémon both have their own unique style to their game play. To each their own. Kids will first sure LOVE this!🙌🙌

        Tons of gameplay hours

        I never hear of the title just downloaded the demo and fall in love with it. Have been playing for like 36 hours all together and still I have missions to complete, bosses to defeat and levels to achieve plus my characters keep on improving, the more I battle the better they get. M over 30 y/old and I still interested in the game, plus I'm buying the newer version as soonest I defeat the whole game! This is an adventure rpg title.

        Absolutely one of my favorite games out right now.

        If you are a fan of rpg/story based games like Pokemon, Fantasy Life (Also by level-5), Legacy of Goku, etc. check this game out! The story and exploration is the most important part, it's all story driven. The graphics are great and the soundtrack and voice acting is A++
