- a***p (648)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThese 4ga connectors are heavy duty. Not using as butt connectors, I'm using them as gauge reducers. I'm drilling out the center stop from the inside, shortening by a small bit, soldering a ferrule onto 4 ga twisted tinned wire then soldering that into these connectors which creates an almost perfect fit and increased clamped surface area for all of my 1/0 ga inline fuse holders and 1/0 ga multi-cable battery terminals. Overlkill? Absolutely. Better audio connection and therefore sound? Maybe.
