    perfect for a tv amplifier

    perfect for a tv sound amplifier. My friends needed something to give then better sound than the TV speakers. We combined this with some auto 6x9s and it's just fine. They're in their 70s and don't need or want surround sound as their home is small, and this fits the bill perfectly for them. The price was right, installation was a breeze, and they're happy, therefore so am I.

    Sony AM/FM Receiver STR-DE445

    This a Really Awesome Receiver. Works very well with Blu-ray players that have Coaxial Audio or optical hook up and works great with Blu-ray disc that have dts 5.1 or 7.1 audio. And Dvds that 5.1 Channel Audio. Or dts audio Dvds this hands down a great Receiver for the money you pay. It sounds just as good as the new ones in my opinion.. and i'm very picky person when it comes to sound quality....so im giving this 5 stars all the way........ and the audio is very crystal clear and clean no distortion.

    Didn't work properly

    When I got it out of the box the cord was partially severed and it would not turn on. I replaced the cord but it still has a short in it and kicks on and off. I should have sent it back but it wasn't worth the hastle.
