"This is the best edition around, especially for its glossary, index and the inclusion of the 'Abstract.'"--Professor Forrest Williams, University of Colorado "This is the best edition available with an excellent index and notes!"--George Aigla,St. Johns College, "These new Oxford University Press editions have been meticulously collated from various exatant versions. Each text has an excellent introduction including an overview of Hume's thought and an account of his life and times. Even the difficult, and rarely commented-on, chapters on space andtime are elucidated. There are also useful notes on the text and glossary. These scholarly new editions are ideally adapted for a whole range of readers, from beginners to experts." --Jane O'Grady, Catholic Herald, 4/8/00. 07/12/2000, "This is the best edition around, especially for its glossary, index and the inclusion of the 'Abstract.'"--Professor Forrest Williams, University of Colorado"This is the best edition available with an excellent index and notes!"--George Aigla, St. Johns College, "This is the best edition around, especially for its glossary, index and the inclusion of the 'Abstract.'"--Professor Forrest Williams, University of Colorado "This is the best edition available with an excellent index and notes!"--George Aigla, St. Johns College, 'These Oxford University Press editions have been meticulously collated from various exatant versions. - s***i (1939)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseGood seller, Thanks.
- c***r (555)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseMost importantly, the book condition was as specified. Many thanks for that. Also, the book was delivered promptly from the USA to the UK. Also, the price was reasonable for an out-of-print book. However, one point of constructive criticism: the packaging could have been much better, in order to better protect the book in transit. The book was sent in a bubble-wrap mailer only, with no cardboard to give the package greater strength. Thank you very much for any consideration of my feedback.
- 3***6 (117)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe mail service absolutely ravaged the top binding corner of the book, which really was a disappointment. It’s not your fault as a seller, but please consider that a book in a snug envelope is very unsafe rather than a slightly larger envelope of the same strength. It’s not going to affect your rating. I will say nothing. But please consider this in the future- Post is treated poorly and customer service is poor with mail, so it’s necessary to ship properly, especially if you sell books. :)Pistis Sophia: The Gnostic Tradition of Mary Magdalene, Jesus, and His Disciples (#116542842875)
