The seller wrapped and double wrapped the product. The only issue was the very old, original cover was brittle and cracked during shipping. Not an issue to me. The only way to have avoided this damage would have been to remove the heavy part (cutting head) from the package and wrap it separately. The packaging was very sturdy as these motors are very heavy. The motors look almost new, and are as described in sellers add.
