      Almost like OEM Denso part

At such an unbelievably low price, I gave this a try to cure an issue with my 4Runner (long crank to start when warm). It has no stampings or markings to indicate it is an OEM Denso part, which was a little disappointing. Its physical appearance beyond the markings is almost the same, but not quite (see pics). It installed cleanly and easily in place of the original, and the car started and ran ok. At first I thought this had cured the problem, but it has since returned (long crank when warm). So now I don't know if the real OEM Denso part would make the difference or not. Overall, I assume in most scenarios, this part works fine. I would look here again for bargain parts. Note: in pics, this part is on the right and original on the left. Last pic looks down inside this part, ...

    • Denso Mass Air Flow Sensor for Toyota Corolla

Works great and engine light went off. Plus cost much less than one from an auto parts store. Denso is the OEM for my Toyota Corolla (2007). I did disconnect the battery when replacing. Just disconnect the wiring harness and unscrew the two screws to get old one out.

    • The right part at a great price

I installed this part in a 2008 Prius. This fixed a check engine light code of P0101. I would suggest you remove the air filter housing to get access to the 2 screws holding the part in place. It is much easier than trying to fit a screwdriver into a very tight space. The part is the same as the factory sensor that came with the car minus the Toyota name on it.

    • Fixed P0306 code.

Got a P0306 code on my wife's 02 Lexus. Checked the coil first and changed it as it had a crack down the side. Code left and came back so cleaned the MAF and the code went away but came back. Installed this unit and fixed the problem as the code hasn't returned and the car is running fine now. Also, a great price for OEM. Happy wife=happy life.

    • Same result at half the price

Mass air flow sensor I bought is the generic Denso variety, which sells for half the price of the OEM ($60 vs $120) and performs just as well. Solved all my performance problems: rough starting and idle, surging, lack of acceleration at speed, etc., and final check engine warning "Too Lean Fuel" (P0171/P0174).
